As a non-programmable device, the HASHWallet Link card is one of the most secure hardware wallets on the market.
The blockchain and cybersecurity consultancy eSignus is proud to announce the launch of its first hardware wallet, HASHWallet Link.
A highly secured and yet convenient solution in the shape of a smart card to store and manage any kind of cryptocurrency. Comfortable like a soft wallet, secure like a cold wallet, is the most precise definition of an HASHWallet Link card. It’s the little sister of the HASHWallet smartcards family, but fully maintaining all its safety features and easiness.
With this first device, eSignus is fulfilling its goal to promote the mass adoption of a decentralized economy.
As a non-programmable device, the HASHWallet Link card does not need firmware updates. It works like any authentication and signature device in which the keys never leave the card (it is an air-gapped hardware wallet that communicates via NFC). And users can always request a duplicate of their card to have a backup copy.
HASHWallet is conceived with quality and security by design. It features the upgraded Infineon SLE78 secure element chip with an EAL6+ certification. Besides, eSignus managed to fit all these features in a 0.84 mm thick card complying with ISO 7810 standards, to preserve the credit card user experience.
A solution that puts together the strongest level of security with ease of use.
The HASHWallet Link smartcard comes with the easy-to-use mobile App HASHWallet Manager. It works as a softwallet that allows to manage, visualize, and interact with the user’s crypto-assets portfolio in an effortless, secure way. From an unmatched onboarding experience, intuitive crypto transactions, and a hassle-free wallet recovery system with the HASHWallet Manager App, users will always have control of what’s going on.
The HASHWallet card connects to the Manager App through NFC, offering faster device pairings and a smooth user experience while keeping everything in a secure environment. It also features WalletConnect, a wide used protocol that allows to easily connect with the many DApps of decentralized finance (DeFi).
HASHWallet Manager provides the most common trading and managing functionalities such as buy, sell, swap, send and receive funds. The App is already available for Android and iOS devices.
HASHWallet was conceived as a non-programmable device to protect the device from external attacks. As a result, HASHWallet’s firmware cannot be upgraded. In order to allow future enhancements or to support new currencies without firmware upgrades, eSignus has created HOLa.
HOLa stands for HASHWallet Operation Language and, in turn, means “Hello!” in Spanish. In a nutshell, HOLa is the programming language with which HASHWallet operates by interpreting a securely signed series of low-level instructions.
With this method, HASHWallet can process any transaction (BTC, ETH, LTC, ADA, DOGE… and plans to increase the number of currencies soon) without the need for definitions previously installed. Just updating the app we can add new features and support more cryptocurrencies without reprogramming the hardware wallet.
With the implementation of HOLa, HASHWallet becomes the world’s first future-proof non-programmable hardware wallet that can securely operate with virtually any cryptocurrency without risky firmware updates.
eSignus Backup Center is a cloud vault service that securely stores some elements that allows HASHWallet’s users a safe backup and a funds recovery solution.
When using a HASHWallet smart card, user only need to worry about the transactions, but neither about security or recovery issues nor their wallets’ setup. Everything is stored securely in a distributed structure. Security in accessing the eSignus Backup Center is a cornerstone of HASHWallet, so nobody but the user himself can access it in any circumstance. HASHWallet uses a passwordless system based on an email or a phone number verification. All the stored data is encrypted using the AES protocol, providing a zero-knowledge vault.
The HASHWallet Link is already available for purchasing in the eSignus online store.
There are two product kinds:
eSignus is a consulting cybersecurity company experienced in the financial, technology, and crypto security sectors. The company provides digital and crypto assets custody Web3 solutions including hardware wallets and digital identity management. eSignus facilitates the integration of the decentralized economy into business environments at global scale.
No, HASHWallet Link is not a fiat currency payment card. It is a hardware wallet. Our roadmap foresees the conversion of the HASHWallet family of smartcards into payment devices accepted by the big two, MasterCard and Visa. It is planned for Q2 2023 on the HASHWallet FLOW model.
Although we are compatible with BIP-39, you won't need to worry about writing down 24 words and keeping them safe. If you lose your HASHWallet Link, no one will have access to your keys, and there is no way to perform any transaction. Your assets are always safe.
Just order a duplicate of your HASHWallet Link through your HASHWallet Manager App, and you will receive a new card with one of the recovery elements of your keys that were stored offline. Once you scan the card, you will download the other recovery element from your backup account (encrypted with zero knowledge technology), and the keys will be regenerated inside the secure element.
There are no limits on creating multiple wallets in your HASHWallet Manager. You can have as many wallets as you need for your different tokens and currencies. Your only restriction is to use the last wallet made before creating a new one from the same asset.
Two providers are integrated into our HASHWallet Manager App, Simplex and Changelly. With those, you can buy, sell or swap your assets. Remember, we don´t provide those services; Simplex and Changelly offer them. eSignus does not store or access personal or financial information from you when operating with these services. We will integrate more providers in the coming months.
HASHWallet is an innovative hardware wallet in the shape of a smart card to safeguard and easily manage all your crypto assets in a completely safe and secure environment. HASHWallet will store your keys offline, and nobody can access them externally.
